To the anonymous commenter and others who might want to complain about why this site has nothing to do with the band Evanescence...

This is my evanescence... not yours, not Amy Lee's, MINE. I did not say this is a fan site and that I'm going to write about the music group Evanescence. In fact, if you took the time to check out my very first entry, I specifically said that while this is inspired by them, I'm going to write about my "evanescence", which is the act or state of vanishing away (blah blah... the definition in the top of the left column).

You also don't see the group's pictures all over this site, which might be a good indication that this is NOT a fan site. Don't get me wrong... I LOVE Evanescence (the band), I buy their CDs and go to their concerts. But please, before you leave a comment bashing the fact that there's nothing to do with evanescence here, bear in mind that your definition of evanescence may be different from mine. I apologise if you're disappointed for not finding what you're looking for, but I'm not going to apologise for writing what I want to write.

I would like to thank you. I am a writer, a gothic writer, and thanks to your website i have found an idea for a story. Of course, i shall dedicate the story to the band as i am a great fan, but i shall also dedicate it to you, for you AND the band have inspired me.
